Some Christians have been taught that they will escape this day of the wrath of God in what is called the Rapture.
The tribulation period is the appointed time when the wrath of God will be poured out on a world that has rejected God for so long.
They loved a lie over the truth and have grown more and more wicked over time.
God was patient for so long but even God’s patience comes to an end when humans, like at the time of Noah, only thought of ways that were more and more evil.
There is some good in humans yes, but apart from the Holy Spirit of God, there is no real good in us because even our good works are like filthy rags before God (Isaiah 64:6).*
We cannot save ourselves, we need a Savior.
