End Days

“Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you’ll know he’s at the door. Don’t take this lightly. I’m not just saying this for some future generation, but for all of you. This age continues until all these things take place. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won’t wear out." Matthew 24:32-35

“But be on your guard. Don’t let the sharp edge of your expectation get dulled by parties and drinking and shopping. Otherwise, that Day is going to take you by complete surprise, spring on you suddenly like a trap, for it’s going to come on everyone, everywhere, at once. So, whatever you do, don’t go to sleep at the switch. Pray constantly that you will have the strength and wits to make it through everything that’s coming and end up on your feet before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36

Jesus was quoted in the gospels of Matthew and Luke, talking about the end of the days when a crowd of people asked him about it. And He didn't paint a pretty picture. And it doesn't matter what and who you read, or even what you watch or listen to, this world as we know it is really coming to an end. Scientists and environmentalists say so, preachers and evangelists have been saying it for generations, even tv shows, novels and movies tells us so -- global warming, drought, famine, earthquake, hurricane, tsunami, pestilence, diseases and WW3. Zombie apocalypse here, killer asteriod or meteor there and terrorist attacks and nuclear holocaust everywhere. Everyone is talking about the world coming to an end. In fact, people have already signed up to go to Mars.

And it is just as the Word of God have long predicted. And there can be no escape but by Him who is able to save -- our Lord and Savior. Read up on what He says about this on Matthew 24 and 25, Luke 21 and other end time prophesies in both the Old and the New Testament. Be informed, be prepared, stay in the presence of the Holy Spirit, keep at it on doing the work the Lord has entrusted to you and above all love one another... Jesus is coming back for His bride, let's not be among the foolish bridesmaids....
