Fifth

"And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day."

On the fifth installment of creation, God continues to basically speak into fulfillment His masterplan. On this episode, He calls forth life from the sea and those creatures which fly in the air.

And if you can picture it in your mind's eyes, it would be like watching Jurassic Park or the National Geographic Channel. And that is exactly how the Lord wants us to read Scriptures -- He wants us to not only read it daily but also to see it in living color. And He wants it to come alive in our lives and He wants us to get excited about it and to make it real and active in our everyday lives.

And then He wants us to end each day with a sense of awe and wonder and thansgiving for Him who makes all things possible. And to be refreshed and start the next day with renewed interest and excitement and anticipation of what He is going to do next. Remember, whatever it may be, it is all good.
