Seventh

"Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.  By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done."
Genesis 2:1-3

When you read this, you can almost hear Jesus saying "It is finished", as He hung on a cross and bore the sins of us all, paying in full the penalty. It is finished.

On the seventh day of creation, our Abba Father rested because by then all of creation is done.

Today and everyday is our seventh. Because it is indeed finished. And thus we rest in the Lord's finished work. We labor still of course, but we labor with joy, we labor with peace in our hearts, we labor with love and we labor with hope.

Yes, it is good. It is all good.
