Not By You

Not By You or From You But For You

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8

Every believer should have this verse down and stored deep in their inner being and so etched into their hearts that they can readily recite it even in an unconscious state. Yes, Paul is telling the early Christian believers in Ephesus, that it is not by you, or from you but for you. And he is telling the same thing to us today. We came from nothing and is now something only because of Christ. We are just one piece of the puzzle which placed together and working together builds His church.

Receive it and let it take ahold of you and be totally thankful to Him true and through and as Jesus said, you will do even greater things "because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." What an awesome God we have.
