"And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day."
Genesis 1:6-8
Day 2, God made a space to separate water from above from the water down below. We can make a few parallels in our lives but what's less noticeable here is that it was day, then night and then day again. So whatever happens, time and everything else just moves right on along.
And then guess what, it's the next day again. No time to dwell on things past, or water down below, but rather let us look up and expect the water from above that is yet to rain and reign in our lives.
