Our Great Partnership

Everybody carry burdens on their shoulders. In the Old Testament times, God's people not only carried physical burdens, they also shouldered religious burdens, mainly because of manmade rules and regulations. When Jesus came and carried the same burdens, He told them to trust in Him and that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. In fact, He basically summed up all of His Heavenly Father's commandments into two. Love God and love others.

Today, the Holy Spirit's job is to remind us of those commands and also to whisper in our ears to cast our troubles upon the Lord and let Him carry it for us -- part of the great partnership we have with Jesus when we accepted Him as our Lord and Savior.

When we have our quiet times with the Lord and read the Word and praise, pray and fast, then all of these truths become more and more clearer and more and more real in our daily lives. Let us continue partnering with God, He has already won the war for us, let Him win our daily battles as well.
